Who or what inspired you to start your business?

My own journey to motherhood experiences inspired me to become an infertility advocate, write a book, and start a podcast. Spreading awareness about infertility and pregnancy struggles is very important to me. I want to encourage others by sharing my testimony and educate people about the struggles that some women face when trying to conceive.

“ Your story is some else’s survival guide, and others are assigned to your life to pull strength from your testimony.”

What would you like to share with anyone thinking about getting into this field?

I would encourage anyone to become an advocate or spread awareness about something you’ve experienced and have become passionate about. I am a believer that none of our bad experiences are meant to be wasted. Your story is some else’s survival guide, and others are assigned to your life to pull strength from your testimony. There is no better feeling than hearing encouragement from someone who has been where you are and understand your struggle from their personal experiences.

What has been your most satisfying or rewarding moment in business?

The feedback that I have received from my podcast/YouTube audience and readers of my book has been most rewarding. It blesses my soul to hear that my testimony has encouraged others. It is very satisfying to also hear from individuals who are foreign to the struggle of infertility, but they are still being blessed by my testimony and book content.

“No matter how many times you fall, keep getting up “

What do you hope to accomplish in the near future?

I am in the process of creating a nonprofit organization that will assist families financially with fertility treatments. I am hoping to provide a variety of resources for women who are trying to conceive and in need of mental, emotional and financial services.

What advise would you give to women going through challenges?

I would encourage anyone who is struggling with challenges to take it one day at a time. None of us are exempt from troubles or promised a problem free life. There will be no testimony without a test. Trials produce patience, tenacity and add a little extra meat to your muscles. Change your perspective on your challenges and look at your struggles through victorious lenses. Turn pain into purpose and keep pushing. No matter how many times you fall, keep getting up. Start over as many times as you need too. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes or failing because it’s all a part of the journey.

“Women are powerful beings. Women are strong and together can conquer the world.”

Why is woman to woman empowerment important to you?

Women are powerful beings. Women are strong and together can conquer the world. Instead of competing, tearing one another down, beefing and fighting, it is important to uplift one another. Women are mothers, wives, daughters, and sisters who sometimes carry the weight of the world on their shoulders. If we all share our experiences and help one another, together, we can overcome any obstacle. Together we can build a sisterhood. I am a strong believer in everyone having a mentor, someone they can learn from, someone who has been where they are trying to go. I am an advocate for women’s empowerment, we are so much stronger together. Your experiences can be my survival guide when I encounter hardship. Sharing testimonies, praying for one another, wiping each other’s tears, and standing together is the biggest blessing in sisterhood and a big part of what I believe to be women’s empowerment.
